Welcome to the first ever website to incorporate ethics into your career planning
- Is working for a sustainable organisation with a good ethical reputation important to you?
- Will the level of care an organisation takes with its impact on the environment, employees, community, and the future influence your decision to work with them?
- How can you judge employers on these issues?
- What about your values and ethics?
The term “Career Ethics” was coined by Rosemary Sainty in response to a growing demand by clients to incorporate ethics into their career decisions – in choice of employer, seeking a career matching personal values or the desire to make work more meaningful. She sees this as a perfect complement to the growing driver of CSR in attracting talented employees.
This website aims to be the foundation on and gateway to career ethics, providing:
- concise information and links on all the key issues
- a grounding in ethics, to give you the language to articulate the case for good ethics and CSR practices across the private and public sector
- a chance to test your own values and ethics
- help finding a career matching personal values to make work more meaningful
- a forum for both individuals and organisations to discuss these issues
Play a part in this process by having your say.
